How we build it
Wired PoE cameras and an NVR, as a starting point
For most homes and small businesses we start with PoE (power over Ethernet) cameras recording to an NVR (network video recorder). One cable carries power and video to each camera, so there are no batteries to charge and no Wi-Fi to drop out.
Where a cable genuinely can't reach, a wireless or battery camera can fill the gap, and we'll explain the trade-off before you decide.
Storage is spelled out. How many days of footage you keep depends on the number of cameras, the picture quality and whether they record all the time or only on events. The quote lists the hard drive included and the recording assumptions behind it, so there are no surprises later.
Equipment is usually Reolink cameras and NVRs. If you already have another brand, tell us what it is and we'll check what can be reused.

Wired or wireless cameras?
Wired PoE cameras are the most reliable choice where a cable can be run. Wireless and battery cameras suit places a cable can't reach, but they rely on Wi-Fi and charging. We'll recommend the mix that suits your property.
Can I watch the cameras on my phone?
Yes. Phone viewing is set up during handover, and we show you how to check live view and find recordings.
Can you add to the cameras I already have?
Often, depending on the recorder and brand. Mention what you have in the form and we'll check before quoting.
Is there a monthly fee?
Not from us for the system itself: recording happens on the NVR at your place. Cloud plans from the camera maker are optional and your choice.
How much does it cost?
It depends on the number of cameras, the cable runs and the storage. You get a fixed, written quote after the on-site check, before any work starts.
